I have a very old one that is great--very easy on the dogs but I originally bought it for Minnie and it's really too small to be useful for my current pack. The most recent two I've purchased are far too harsh. I can feel that by placing the flat of my hand on them--and the dogs let me know they don't appreciate them either.
