Anda
I never go to "regular" parks with my dog, but I do go to Chatfield, Cherry Creek, and sometimes at Bark Park on County Line. The last one is the worst in terms of cleanliness and space for dogs to play, and it's usually full of "crazies", so we rarely show up there. Plus my dog injured all 4 paws a couple of months ago there, rubbing his paw pads raw on the gravel. The big dog parks don't have a big poop problem, people pick up after their dogs, and provide containers for depositing the poop bags. Not so much at Cherry Creek, where there's only one container at the park entrance, so if your dog goes somewhere else, you're doomed to walk for an hour with a bag of poop in your hands - so lovely
Sue_Deutscher
I LOVE Cherry Creek! And Chatfield too, but that's further away. I've been going to Cherry Creek since my Peevey, RIP, was a puppy, about 1997. I love that place. It's so peaceful, really early in the morning.
