Carlasl Posted February 2, 2009 Report Share Posted February 2, 2009 I have been training Skye on Channel weaves for the past 8wks. The past couple weeks the weaves were barely opened, and I have off and on tried her with them inline but she just didn't seem to "get it". Today I tried again and she totally got it. Her foot work seems good and she is driving through the poles, but she is slower then she was with them slightly opened and she will miss a pole occasionally. My question is should I keep them inline and just work her that way from now on (since she knows what she is suppose to do now)and work on her speed and consistency or should I open them back up so she doesn't "miss" any weaves and keep working on her speed that way. Root Beer Posted February 2, 2009 Report Share Posted February 2, 2009 Can you set the channels so that the first two poles are open, but the rest are closed? If so, it might be worth trying that.
