MaggieDog
I've heard some not so great things about LDS Leather - slow and crappy customer service primarily. I haven't bought a leather leash from anyone online, but I have a lead exactly like this: I got it while interning with Guide Dogs for the Blind in CA 7 years ago and it is my favorite leash for around town - I can use it short (30"), medium (48"), long (60"), over the shoulder, as a double dog walker, attached to both harness and collar, etc. J&J sells the one pictured above; dunno if they make the Guide Dogs' one or not. When I was in Europe I got a similar lead that's narrower and longer that I like just as much. Around US dog suppliers they're known as European leads most often, sometimes Service Dog or Police leads as well.
shiloh714
Looks like I have been left in the dark (about the dog world) for a long time. There is sooooooooo much to learn from this site!!! --even if you aren't looking for it-- -Janeen
