Kyna Posted March 18, 2008 Report Share Posted March 18, 2008 Looks like Isla needs a root canal on her big bottom molar - there is a red dot in an outside crack so she goes in on April 7th. We decided to go with the root canal because I don't want to risk jaw complications and other problems. On the bright side she may just need a filling. It is soo expensive but it is a 3 hour surgery!! Poor girl. Ironically, last year I started a savings account - my financial advisor calls it my doggie account. We have health insurance on Isla but we figured we'd self insure Rock - but Isla's insurance only covers $250/year on teeth. Good timing!
