Root Beer
Tonight at class Maddie did 12 weave poles not once, but twice! All the way through, no pauses, didn't miss a pole!! We've been working on this for ages! It's so cool to see it come together!
Tassie
Hey, way to go Maddie and Kristine! Now all you have to worry about is having a wave-pole suck like my little Kirra. I'm working on weavers with my goofy, totally obstacle-focussed, out-of-control Fergus boy - who still hasn't grown up at 6. I wouldn't say he understands them yet, but he's starting to get the idea, and when he's calm - with a lot of help, he can get through all 12 - on both hands. I have my weavers set up in my back yard, and I'm trying to do a few reps every day with him, in the hope that he will build up some sort of muscle memory for the job. Kirra's been working on recalling through weavers from a start line stay, and on difficult entries and independent performance - and we're making progress there too.
