Maralynn
Tonights class went really well, up until the time where everyone got up and started walking around practicing with their dogs. Miss did great at first, and then she started getting a little snarky with some of the dogs. The people didn't faze her - in fact she was happy to see them, the medical scents didn't faze her, she didn't even mind being next to the other dogs, until they started sniffing at her. Then she gets a bit snarky with them. She could care lees about them if they leave her alone. I think it is too much, too quick for her. If it were a little more gradual I could correct her and move on and praise her when she did it right. I'm going to call the instructor and talk it over with her to see if there is a better way to do things as far as Missy is concerned. Tammy525
Did the class split? More room? Scout would never be able to accomplish anything in those conditions. Crowds of people, strange smells, running all over kids, whatever, no problem, but a room full of dogs? NO WAY.
