Maralynn Posted July 20, 2006 Report Share Posted July 20, 2006 My brother recently got engaged. He and his fiance are planning a November wedding out in Colorado. Here's my quandry - When I go somewhere I usually leave Missy with either my folks or grandparents. But that won't work in this situation. I don't have anyone else nearby that I'm currently comfortable leaving her with. I'm kinda thinking about taking her along. She rides well in the car, and did great when I took her on vacation last fall. I asked my brother to check with his fiance's family to see if I could leave her at their house several hours the day of the wedding (I'd use her crate). Other than that, I'm thinking that between a couple of brothers and myself, it would be no problem to have her along. Are there things that I may not be thinking of that should be considered? Tammy525 Posted July 20, 2006 Report Share Posted July 20, 2006 Will you be stopping anywhere on the way? MI to CO sounds like a long trip with no stops. I guess you would need to look into a dog-friendly hotel. Otherwise if Missy is vacation experienced, it sounds like a great solution.
