Root Beer Posted May 6, 2007 Report Share Posted May 6, 2007 I took Maddie to do an agility demo with the dog club that I'm a member of. This was the first time she did agility outside of class. I was very interested to see if she would actually work with me and do the course, or if I was going to end up going into the crowd to retrieve her! She stayed with me and did the course! Two things we need to work on: teeter and weaves, but I knew that! All in all, I was very pleased with my girl's performance! Afterward she got to participate in a demo to teach kids how to approach dogs safely. She absolutely adored that part of the day! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's always such a huge break through, a promise of the wonderful future, when you find your dog works willingly with such distractions. I understand how proud you must be!
