May 2nd 2006 4:53 pm We went to the vet today, I took both Roxie and her brother (my sister's pup) along with my 3 year old daughter. Talk about fun! Roxie now weighs 17.5 lbs, she did great for her shots and we have her scheduled for spaying on May 23rd. Afterwards we went to Petsmart, as I was anxious to take her out in public. We bought her a Gentle Leader Collar. Now that her shots are all done we get to work on walks on lead. We are putting off puppy and obedience classes until after surgery. Roxie now: Rings a bell to let us know when she needs to go outside, Sit, up (beg) and we are still working on down. We are also working on stay. I love my little furball! I find that the bells are SO helpful, only, Dazzle is ringing it every 5 seconds because she wants to go outside and play Agility. It is one of those things that can backfire on you. Can't wait to see more pictures of those two growing up! Wow, 17.5 lbs, growing like a weed! BTW, don't forget about the "come" command.
