Britta
I've been following the discussions about the split between the ABCA & the AKC for as long as i've been reading this board. Recently there has been a lot of 'but we will loose dogs & the registry won't be viable anymore' sort of comments My question: If the only way the ABCA could stay alive was to bow into pressures of AKC breeders & buyers, what would be the point of having this seperate registry? I think it MUST be a question of 'either one or the other' or otherwise the ABCA would slowly get gobbled up by the AKCA. All the owners of non herding, dual registered, dogs would be able to make decisions, vote for directors,... I may be wrong but that's how it seems to me Britta
