mayflower
What do tractor pulls, the Budwesier Clydesdales, Ostrich burgers, and sheepdogs have in common? The Upper Midwest Stockdog Challenge is what. Held in conjunction with the Scott Co. Fair in Jordan Minnestoa, the UMSDC provides fun for the whole family. The Fair hosts one of the largest heavy horse competitions in the midwest, drawing most of the top competitive teams from across the country, in addition to all of the regular fair attractions. The trial features 70% payback with $1000 added money, on a great trial course. There will be a double-lift championship and a third Nursery trial may be added on July 31st time permitting. There are still a few slots open in most trial classes and entry forms are available at http://www.comebye.net/downloads/2005_UMSDC_Entry.pdf . Handlers can camp on the fairgrounds, at the following: KOA (http://www.koa.com/where/MN/23112.htm) MN Valley State Park (http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/min...lley/index.html) Or there are several hotel/motel choices listed on the entry forms that will accept dogs.
