Rebecca, Irena Farm
We are pleased to announce a hander's clinic with Steve Clendenin on May 8 & 9 at his farm in Cleveland, North Carolina (near Statesville and Salisbury). Beginners who have never handled stock, up to advanced trial competitors, are welcome. Steve has experience training many breeds of stockdog, including mixes. He has helped a number of handlers reach the Open level of trialing, but also enjoys working with "green" dogs and handlers. The training facilities at the Clendenin farm have won acclaim from beginners and advanced handlers alike for the beautiful,well-maintained fields, even but challenging sheep, and outstanding hospitality for event attendees. A round pen, small paddock, and full-sized Open field will be available for use at Mr. Clendenin's discretion. Lunch arrangements TBA. Please contact me (Rebecca Shouse) for more information and registration forms. (336) 591-8962 or brookcove@ earthlink.net (take out the space). The cost of the clinic will be $150 for the weekend. One-day slots can be filled on a negotiable basis, after the closing date. Auditing spaces are available for $20 for one day or $30 for the weekend.
