Nancy M.
We adopted a border collie from someone on craigslist who vouched that she was registered (and then never sent us the papers nor the vet record). We believe he was a "dog flipper." However, we love our 1.5 year-old female bc--we are her "forever home." Here's an interesting development: our daughters bought us a genetic test kit and we sent it in only to find that Evie (her name) is NOT even 1% border collie. I will attach a photo, so you will see why we are so surprised. Any thoughts or follow-ups would be appreciated. Sincerely, Nancy PS: Evie is the third bc that we've owned over the past 30 years. PPS: I could not find a way to insert her photo.
