Tina66 Posted August 17, 2020 Report Share Posted August 17, 2020 I have a lovely border collie who we adopted from a rescue centre 4 years ago. We think she is 5 - 5 half years old. 99% of the time her recall is really good but the problem arises when she see another dog. When she sees one she totally locks onto it and it’s like a switch flicks and there is no breaking it. She will see a dog in the distance and will run to it. If that dogs plays with her then that’s it, she’s not coming back, we have tries everything we can think of, treats, her favourite toy etc. You can see her eyes glaze over and it’s like you are not there.
