Ex-breeding rescue Collie - teeth concerns

Hi all, looking for a bit of advise please.

Our family has been looking to find a slightly older rescue collie and recently come across one that has been used for breeding. Current owners have advised no health concerns but teeth don’t look to be in great condition and quite worn down. A quick google suggests it could be dental mineralisation.
None of our previous collies have had this. Does anyone have any experience of this, Costs associated etc?  Already in love with the dog and clearly needs a good home but worried about this if it could lead to big problems or costs. Any help appreciated
