aringer Posted January 12, 2003 Report Share Posted January 12, 2003 Hi! My name is Adi Ringer and me and my daughter Molly just adopted a red & white border collie from BCR of CA. They think he's about 3 and was found a stray about a year ago. He's been moved around a bit this past year. We don't have sheep, but I think he had some training there. When he is "in the zone" looking at a critter, I can not break his concentration. We started a training class yesterday, and not even the trainer could lure him with food right under his nose! There where other people, dogs, horses, and goats. All he did was stare at the goats!! Any suggestions? Also: He has no interest in balls or frizbees. He's actually quite mellow. A couple of people are thinking he might be an Aussie. How do I find out? Thanks, Adi.
