katendarby
I'm in Southern California, Long Beach to be exact, and have a girl who has natural instinct and needs a job to do. Where can I find someone out here for herding training? Kate really needs something to do to ease her anxieties. She's also very noise sensitive and not very outgoing, but when she's tracking something (usually another dog, unfortunately), even an unexperienced eye like mine can see she's got it. Guest PrairieFire
My usual advice is to go to www.usbcha.com and find the District Director for your area, give 'em a holler, and ask about trainers that give lessons - if they don't know anybody close to you, they can still usually get you some contact numbers to get started... If you're lloking for herding advice - you probably want to post down in the "training" section rather than up here in this area... Have fun... ------------------ Bill Gary Kensmuir, Working Stockdog Center River Falls, WI 715.426.9877 www.kensmuir.com [This message has been edited by PrairieFire (edited 06-17-2002).]
