waffles Posted February 25, 2013 Report Share Posted February 25, 2013 A flyer for this event was dropped off at my work and thought I would pass it on incase anyone in the area was interested. The changing of the rabies 3 year requirement to 6 or 7 years is also something I did not know many people were seriously fighting to change (NY anyways is 3 years now). Interesting read anyways and I know many on these boards are interested in the topic of vaccine protocols. I was happy to see, when I took a cat to a vaccine clinic through Pets Supplies Plus that they had a new rabies vaccine that was free of the ingredient that causes the tumors at injection site but they said it is only "good" for one year instead of 3 after the 3nd shot.
