I found this information: http://www.brewersfriend.com/2010/05/09/hops-and-dogs/ I don't think hop growing is too popular in our neck of the woods but I suppose in warmer climates, it's quite popular. Smalahundur Posted August 25, 2012 Report Share Posted August 25, 2012 I don´t think you should be too concerned about hops growing in your neighborhood, it tastes bitter and is probably not very appetizing for a dog (or a human). Notice this is posted on a hobby brewer´s board. If you brew beer you infuse hops in the sweet wort, so the spend hops are covered in that stuff, now that makes an attractive albeit dangerous snack for a dog.
