juliepoudrier
It would help if we knew where in WV you lived or hoped to keep sheep. I assume you don't want to travel from one end of the state to the other.... J.
Rhborder
Haha, sorry, I'm located in Hurricane, WV. I'm sick and on lots of meds, so I'm not thinking real clearly, so I can't tell you much more right now.
juliepoudrier
Hmmmm...I thought I might be able to help, but I don't know anyone on that end of the state. Does WV have something like NC's Agricultural Review? If so, you could advertise there. Otherwise, I think I'd try asking at the local feed stores. Sorry I can't be any more help than that. J. Sue R
I tried through Sheepdog-L and other venues a couple of years ago and found no one qualified to teach in WV that I was aware of. If there are folks who would be amenable to your keeping sheep on their place, maybe you could advertise (it's free, I believe) in the Market Bulletin that is put out by the Agriculture Department in WV. You might want to see if there are listings of members in WV available through USBCHA or VBCA, and maybe get in touch with someone that way.
