Misera1013
How do I look into herding? I always hear people saying to get a trainer, but how do you find one? Is ther a main database or anything like that to search?
Shoofly
You could try telling us where you are and maybe someone in your area can direct you to a trainer. I see where your profile says upstate New York but i don't know the area. Also, check www.usbcha.com and looks for trials in your area to attend, where you can ask around about trainers. Misera1013
I'm an hour North of Syracue in Watertown, and about 20 minutes south of Canada. Thank you for the website, but I was unable to find anything in NY at all. I would just really like to find something for Patches and I to do together.Any ideas? Shoofly
There's tons of stuff in Ontario and NY. check www.nebca.net , you should find some info there. I got Tater in Ontario when i was there this summer for 13 days of trialing, what a great series of trials!

juliepoudrier
Misera, If you go back to the first website Robin gave you (USBCHA) and click on the link for the directors, you can find your regional director(s), who would be a good starting point. On the directors page at the top right is a list of districts. Find your district, then go down the list of directors until you find the directors for your district. There is contact information for them on that list. There are lots of folks in New York who work their dogs. If you get in touch with a district director, s/he can point you in the direction of others. J. P.S. Hi Joanne!
