ascott Posted September 8, 2006 Report Share Posted September 8, 2006 Hi, I am new and just wanted to introduce myself. I only have one BC, she`s young, but a fantastic companion. I adopted Flash from our local shelter about two years ago. I told the people there I wanted a dog that was medium in size, had a medium legnth coat, and that had enegry from the time we woke up until we fell asleep at night. They introduced me to Flash, a 10 month old Border Collie, and here we are today. The more dog breeds I meet, the more I am convinced, that BC`s are just about perfect in every way. I haven`t tried to see if she has any herding skills, well, other than herding our cats, and I do LOVE to watch her do that, but we are learning agility from a local trainer. It`s slow going, mostly because I am so new to agility and everything else BC`s can do, but we have a lot of fun trying! I saw your board and decided I like the idea of having "someone" a little wiser and more experienced to ask for advise should the need arise.
