Here is some information in regard to the 2011 National Cattledog Finals:

The National Cattledog Finals will be held May 26-29, 2011 (Memorial Day Weekend) just outside of Redding, Iowa.

Redding is located just north of the Missouri border and west of I-35.

The trial field is gently rolling and will accomidate a large course. Fully fenced, it is flanked on 2 sides by a 32' wide return alley system and holding pens which will allow the cattle to be handled easily and efficiently both before and after runs.

Vendor space is available in a indoor arena with adjoining stalling barn with full office that sits right at the corner of the trial field. Camping accomidations are located just down the road on an improved gravel surface.

Advertising opportunities are available in the National Finals Program ($100.00 full page, $50.00 1/2 page & $25.00 1/4 page/business card).

The Dog Sponsorship Program is also a great way to support and participate in the National Finals, $125 per dog, sponsors will be listed in the program, $25 of each sponsorship will be placed into a fund which will be paid back to the sponsors of the top placing dogs.

We still have 5 1/2 months to get qualified!!!!

Des Moines International Airport is about 1 1/2 hours north of the trial site right up I-35. I think it would have the easiest access, it is on the south side of Des Moines so you don't have to deal with much traffic.

Looking at the map Kansas City International is about 3 - 3 1/2 hours but it will take a bit to get over to I-35. ETA: Just spoke to Bob Johnson, Kansas City is around 1 1/2 hour or so, it will take longer if you come all the way on I-35 and then west on Hwy 2. If you pull out an atlas you'll see it.
