She has both won the National Sheepdog Finals and been Reserve Champion as well. Her explanations and communication skills are excellent. She works with handlers and dogs at all levels, stressing a solid foundation in beginning work with young dogs and novice handlers, and helping experienced handlers analyze and solve problems in their training and handling. She is great at putting handlers and dogs at ease so that they can both make the most of the learning experience. The daily sessions will run from about 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., with a break for lunch. Campers and RVs are welcome and there are hook-ups. There is a round pen suitable for young or beginning dogs, a larger fenced in area and a large field for those who would like to work in a trial sized field. The cost of the two-day clinic is $195 per dog (lunch included) and spectators can audit for $35 (lunch included).
