KrisK Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 As part of the planning process (yes, I'm one of those who need to plan!), I was trying to determine the reasonable annual expenses in owning a spinner flock (Shetlands...small so I can manage them!) I am looking at 6-12 sheep. I am trying to figure out the expenses after the initial expense of purchasing the flock, fencing, etc. I have my own hay so that's not an issue. I know there are things I'll need to learn - like shearing, foot trimming.... I know there will be vet costs for sure.
