WildFlower
Hi Everyone, I will be taking Daisy to be spayed the week of Thanksgiving and am just wondering if any of you have additional input on "laser surgery". I had to have some emergency surgery on my cat in September and the vet clinic that we went to uses a laser for surgeries. It was amazing how quickly she healed. I could barely see the incision after about a weeks time. I have been told that Daisy will only need about 5 - 7 days of limited activity compared to 10 - 14 days with traditional surgery. Just want to make sure I make the best decision for my girl! I appreciate your thoughts and experiences.
KrisK
I have no experience with laser surgery for spaying but I had laser done to remove a large lump on the hind quarters of my miniature schnauzer. He's 13. His recovery was amazingly quick. In fact, he went for a walk the next day!

MrSnappy
I've never done but back before we did pediatric neuters, one of our adopters did it with both pups they adopted (littermates). They were super super impressed with the recovery rate and how clean and easy the whole thing seemed to be. RDM
