macbryant54 Posted October 13, 2007 Report Share Posted October 13, 2007 I have been trying to train Nova in a kennel. It is a large kennel that is plenty big for her to move around in. She goes in and out of the kennel by herself to eat or come see me. In the mornings I have trouble getting her to come out, or anytime i want to take her outside for a walk or to play. Once she gets outside she loves it and plays alot, but i was wondering if they are any training techniques to make her come out of the kennel without me pulling her out. Sue R Posted October 14, 2007 Report Share Posted October 14, 2007 Will she come out for a treat or special toy? Do you have any idea why she is reluctant to come out at certain times? You say she will come out to greet you - what is different about the mornings or outside time? Is is something you do or say, or carry (like a leash, perhaps)? A little more info might help.
