KrisK
Zachary is having surgery tomorrow. He has a lump on his rear flank near his hip. I can have laser surgery done or conventional. It's up to me. From what I have read, laser is probably better for healing. Since Zachary is 13 and has a heart condition already, I think I'm going to have the laser done. It's more expensive, but that's secondary to me. Has anyone had laser surgery on their dogs? Is is better? Good thoughts for Zachary would be appreciated. He's Jazz's best bud and my footwarmer. bc friend
No experience with laser surgery but I wanted to send good thoughts for a successful surgery and recovery for Zachary!
BCjetta
The real benefits of using laser is less bleeding and less pain associated with it. The vets really like the less bleeding thing because it makes the surgery easier for them because there isn't blood getting in the way of everything.
