KrisK Posted September 10, 2007 Report Share Posted September 10, 2007 I'm having a great time with my Muscovy ducks. They are great bug eaters and just generally entertaining. Saturday morning, I watched Peaches hunting what I thought was a bug...NOPE.. she came up with a SNAKE!! Not a full grown garter snake, but it had to be at least a foot long!! While she had it in her mouth, the other two ducks were trying desperately to 'share'. NO way, Peaches gobbled that snake down. I was a bit concerned that it might not be all that great for her, but she seems fine and even laid eggs. I knew they would eat frogs, but I had no idea snakes would be part of the diet. So around my place, snakes beware, if Dusty doesn't get ya....Peaches will! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
