How to feed?

I have a couple raw chicken necks - I've read that they're a major part of many raw and homecooked diets, and though I feed Nutro I'm beginning to supplement. Is feeding them raw the only option? I'm nervous about them consuming raw meat but I'm well aware that cooked poultry bones can prove fatal. Advice or input would be great...
