Guest Bart
We had a southdown ewe come down with pnuemonia. I was treating her with la200 and drenching her with water and usually needed a helper to treat her. When I couldn't get one the other day I decided to use bart. He seemed to understand right away what was needed and was able to trap her in a corner so I could treat her. I could drench her easily, but when it came to the shot it was pretty tricky since I didn't want her to jerk around because it takes do long for me to inject her. Have you tried that much treatment with just a dog?
Guest Amanda
I think that is an intramuscular shot , right? I'd put that ewe down on her back side to give it or hang onto her by the chin until you dispense it into her back side. The dog can help you single it, but that's it. My dogs help with sheep jobs all the time Amanda
