Kathy H.
***Permission to forward on/cross-post**** There is a new trial in town . This came up rather suddenly but we expect a lot of spectators (it will be widely publicized) and we're hoping that it will turn into an annual event. This will carry IHDA points and it will replace the July 9 originally scheduled at Willow Creek. Amana Farm Fest Stock Dog Trial $500.00 in Prize Monies plus Awards Saturday July 30, 11:00 a.m. CDT 220th Trail, Main Amana, Iowa Sponsored by the Amana Farm Fest, Iowa Herding Dog Association, and Willow Creek Farm Trial is on sheep (O and PN) and goats (N and Junior Handler). Area (this year because of fencing that has to be done) is about 300 feet x 300 feet.? We are talking with them about sponsoring an open field format trial for next year (when there's more time to figure out fencing) and they are interested. Entries are limited by the stock available so get your entries in as soon as you can. For information on the Amana Colonies, see: http://www.amanacolonies.com/welcome/index.html For a flyer or if you have questions, get in touch with me and I can send you one as an attachment of via the US mail. Hope to see you all there! Kathy Heilenman L-Heilenman@uiowa.edu
