Rebecca, Irena Farm Posted April 6, 2007 Report Share Posted April 6, 2007 I am doing the happy dance because today all the pieces came together to bring a new dog into our home. He's a dog who started going deaf while he was working a big operation out in Colorado. He's pretty much trained, but what I'd like to do, in case he loses all his hearing, is at least get the basics on some kind of remote device - collar, I guess. Has anybody done this? I guess it would be similiar to transitioning to whistles, not that I've ever successfully done that either. His name is Gus and he'll be hubby's dog since Doug the Dog will be semi-retired this summer. We're gonna have to get some bigger couches!
