sea4th
I dropped Puck off at the vet's after work today. Surgery is tomorrow a.m. Throughout this entire ordeal, he has been beyond great - wonderful attitude, loves everyone. He greeted everyone at the vet's like they were long lost friends. His tail never stops wagging, and he gave me a big slurp good bye. The fund. If someone would have told me a week or so ago that as of today, we woudl reach 1000.00, I would have told them they were FOS. But we did. Between PayPal, donations sent to the vet and some cash donations, we've crested just over 1000.00. Isn't that just plain remarkable? Let's hope that surgery is on the low end of the estimate, but if not, then we are still more than half way there. I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that people I never met or that Puck has never met, have come together for a dog they never met. If this is what humble pie tastes like, then it's not too bad! Thank you all. I will post as soon as I hear something tomorrow. Keep all of your well wishes and good vibes coming. I know that they'll be with Puck tomorrow.

Tassie
All good wishes and positive vibes coming Puck's way from the land of Oz. And kudos to you, Vicki - both for helping Puck in the first place, and then for setting up his fund. Isn't it heart-warming to see true dog-lovers coming together over so many thousands of miles. You'll let us know if Puck needs more, won't you. He sounds like such a great dog.
WyoBC
That's great! I'm so glad that Puck is going to get all better. It's amazing how people will band together when someone needs it. KrisK
That is great news Vicki! Puck is going to make someone a great companion! He sounds like a special boy. Good for you for having faith
ShoresDog
Thanks for the update, Vicki! I hope all goes well with the surgery tomorrow. Puck's story would make a wonderful human (I mean dog!) interest story in your local paper. Do you or any of your crew know anyone to call? It could help with the remaining donations and alert people to the fact that he and other wonderful pets are out there looking for homes.
