WyoBC
Wow this is the second post of the night. That has to be a record. Anyway. I was wanting some advice from you guys. There's a Aussie/mix at the shelter here in town that was a real nice boy when he came in but now he's getting kind of rude. There has been a few people that would have adopted him but they didn't like that he wouldn't listen. I want to help out and do some work with him so he can get adopted out but I can't get attached to another one. Not that I would because Black Jack is the one dog I want for now (other than a puppy ) I know the answer already I guess. How can you work with them but not get so attached that you can't let them go? Nothing would make me happier then to see him adopted out. Thanks guys. Here's the link to him (he's toward to bottom) Rocky
WyoBC
Ok, I got to really thinking about this last night and I think I'll help him out what I can, and see if I can get him a home. I also signed up to volunteer at the Wyoming Border Collie Rescue today. I love helping out BC's, and I think it will make me happy finding homes for them. I have been wanting to volunteer and help them out out for a while now. My Mom even said if it works out later I might be able to foster a BC too. Bula's Lady
Its sounds like you have figured out what you are doing. I think its great! I think that you will get attached to the dogs you work with, but that just means you can help place them with a better match. I think if you become really attached then you will know in your heart if the dog is right to keep. Good luck with this!
PSmitty
Good for you, AJ! I'm sure it will be very rewarding for you and great for the dogs. Hey, Zeke looks like my Jack's twin brother!
