Hector
This LED headlamp is really great. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0032664516921a&type=product&cmCat=search&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&QueryText=princeton+headlamp&N=4887&Ntk=Produc ts&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Ntt=princeton+headlamp&noImage=0://http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/t...dlamp&noImage=0 It provides a lot of light while allowing the user to have both hands free. The design and electronics of the lamp are very intelligent. I highly recommend this product. I have found a lot of uses for mine. Hector ----------------- The best things in life are furry. Carson Crazies
You know, I have enough problems keeping my cool points as it is - I'm afraid this would just drain me completely. Looks like a very useful gadget, though - and as long as I can manage to use one where my friends can't see me to give me grief, it sounds cool! juliepoudrier
I use a head lamp at night to feed, etc. It's very convenient precisely because it does leave my hands free. Mine isn't as fancy as the one from Cabela's, but it sure helps when I have to do "flashlight farming," which is pretty much unavoidable at this time of year. J. KrisK
My SIL who lives in Maine sent 2 Cabela headlamps to us for Christmas last year. Not those exact ones, but ours have a 'bright' as well as the LED lights and have rechargable batteries and an additional 4 AA battery pack for back up. Since I walk the dogs after dark in the middle of nowhere, I really like having the headlamp. That way, I can comfortably hold on to the leashes and a walking stick if I need one. Catu
I always use LED headlamps at trainings, I even have one for me an another gor my dog. As Chemukh had a very long coated didn't worked to attache chemical lights to her collar to see her in the night, so I used to put a headlamp on her neck that had a red LED, that way, even if the hair hide the light itself I could see the reflect on the soil
