Please note that the last one listed is a benefit trial to help the family of Cooper Kreider with medical bills. June 13-15th: Nelson County Summer Festival SDT at the Oakridge Estate. Entries opened May 1 and close May 25. Nursery and open. June 13, nursery only at the farm of Cindy and Alasdair MacRae, starting at 3 p.m. June 14-15, two one-day open and nursery trials at Oak Ridge. If there are a large number of open entries, nursery may be held at the MacRae farm. Go to http://www.sheepdogsonline.com for an entry blank and more information. June 21-22: Frontrunner Nursery Trial and Fun Day. Nursery will be 15.00 per run, and unjudged fun runs will follow the nursery trial. Fun runs will be 10.00 each. Light training will be allowed. According to Sam Furman, the lambs that will be used have had minimal work, so come at your own risk! Contact her at tucknjill@aol.com to let her know if you will be here. Entry is the day of the event. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENIFIT THE FRONTRUNNER FALL TRIAL PAYBACK FOR RANCH AND OPEN. June 28-29: The Cooper Kreider Benefit Trial to be held at the farm of Alasdair and Cindy MacRae. This trial will be USBCHA and VBCA sanctioned. Nursery, N/N, P/N, and open ranch will be offered (NO open). There will be a sweep style event for each class where you can buy tickets and bet on a participant. We are also looking for someone to sponsor the portapotty and handlers fee for the nursery. All proceedes benefit Cooper Kreider and his family. Please help out if you can.
