Dal & Mad's Mom
We took a foster from a really bad situation she was being torn up by the other dogs in the house. Initally she was lame in the front but, had some healing chest wounds so it seemed ok. In the last few days she is now lame on a back leg. She will use it to pivot if necessary but, favors it other times. Can they get a Hamstring type injury if they are older and overweight? When I pinch there she raises the leg. We started her on Nupro joint right away and had a bit of rymadil but, it's now gone so we are giving her baby asprin. Otherwise she is looking great with good food she's lost some weight and has a shiny coat and better energy.
kelpiegirl
Could be a torn muscle, in which case she needs urgent treatment- I would get her to the vet. Julie
