Circle C
Has anyone ever heard of this stuff? We bought some YEARS ago and I have NO idea where it came from! I have been using it on a horse who has a fungus on her that just will not go away! This stuff has been working wonders on it, but I'm almost out. It has 3 ingrediants in it....cloves, petrlium jelly and some kind of sulfer/sulfate. I'll get the bottle tomorrow morning and tell you exactly what's in it. Maybe you know of something close to it. Thanks in advance!
trailrider
In the olden days, we used to get sulphur(yellow powder) from the drug store and mix it with petroleum jelly for nearly every horse injury. Helped on rope burns, and stopped proud flesh. Works on people too. (me anyway)
Kim @ Flying H Farms
Oh, thanks I have to go buy some stuff for our great pyrs who are already getting hot spots. we have used Gold Bond Medicated powder (the menthol scented) and that works great too. the menthol tastes funny so the dogs will quit licking the spot. It will usually heal a hot spot in 3 days or less. Depending on how bad they are to begin with.
