debcram
A lot of sheepdog people give their dogs Ester C to help prevent hip problems and neutralize the acid in thrir urine. I've been giving it to Pirate for a while, and know the dosage for a 100 pound dog. Do any of you give it to your BCs? Do you know what the proper dosage would be for a 30 dog? Thanks! juliepoudrier
I used to give ester C to one of my dogs who was having urinary tract problems, but can't remember offhand how much I was giving. I may still have a bottle at home and will check. Anyway, if you have the dosage for a 100 pound dog, why not just give your border collie about a third of what you're giving the big dog? J.
