Cheri McDonald
Just got an email from our vet on this. Rob and Briar just had their third Proheart about two weeks ago. Has anyone had any problems with Proheart in your dogs??
juliepoudrier
Cheri, A vet posted in response to this on sheepdog-L and stated that adverse reactions usually occur very shortly after injection, so if yours have been receiving it and haven't had any reactions, they are probably okay. You'll just need to switch to something else next time they're due. J.
Cheri McDonald
Thanks Julie. I just got off the phone with our vet and she agreed with what you were told. She also has a border collie that has been on the proheart. She said that they are covered until Feb then we will have to go to the monthly oral thing.
