LEXIE8
I have a 10 month old border collie. I have had him since he was 8 weeks . He is very intelligent (probably to intelligent for himself to handle) but training is difficult as he loses concentration so easily and after about 5 minutes. Taking him anywhere on the back of the ute is stressful, he lungs at every car that goes past and will not sit still. He has a big brother golden retriever who rides on the Ute perfectly. I thought he might learn from his brother but he hasn't. Has anyone experienced the same thing or have any tips to stop this behavior?? steve snyder
personally I wouldnt do it. I wouldnt stress or expect a dog like a border collie with a propensity to chase to sit still for it. It can be done I suppose but I wouldnt do it with mine.
