Early signs of aggression

Hello, 

We have a 12 week old bc pup. He's always been full of energy and a bit nippy but the last couple of days he's become very aggressive and has even bitten my partner's finger drawing blood. He is begun to growl when we approach him eating (which he never did before) and snaps when we try to take something off him. 

I'm concerned about this behaviour and want to nip it in the bud before it's too late. Does anyone have any advice or experience of this?

Hi there. What have you done in the way of training this dog so far? A lot of advice can be given as to how to work with this and change it, but it would be very helpful to know what training on this and all other matters you have already done , so we don't tell you to try something you have already tried, and also so we can help you possibly to modify what you are already doing.
