LouieLemonade
I'm looking for a high quality brush for my rough coat Border Colllie. I've been using the furminator, and in my opinion it's just okay, so I think it's time to start shopping for a new brush. Any recommendations? GentleLake
There was a recent thread asking the same thing. Try doing a search.

Michael Parkey
I usually use an undercoat rake. The Furminator seems too harsh, and removes more of the outer coat/guard hairs than needed.
D'Elle
My experience: furminator will ruin a border collie's coat. Use of an undercoat rake first and then a regular pin brush seemed to work best for me.
