Ttiffany20191
Does Sentinel prevent ear mites? I've tried to look online but I'm getting conflicting information. I think my girl has this but she is on Sentinel. Anyone else dealt with this? I've cleaned her ear out and there is a bunch of black, gummy, scab like material in there. BCjetta
No it doesn't. Revolution will get ear mites. However, its not all that common for a dog to get ear mites. Ear mites and yeast can look the same with the discharge but ear mites have no smell at all and yeast smells bad - so try smelling the ear. If the dog is around cats a lot she could get ear mites. Gideon's girl
Ear mites are visible to the naked eye. Get some of the gunk on a Q-tip and look closely for little white things moving around. If you see them, a couple drops of Ivomec massaged into each ear right after a bath will kill them.
