Urban Borders
Hmm. Have seen a lot of dogs do this, transitioning from a canter to a trot. Both of my dogs do it. The older one with mild CHD, psoas injuries, and bilateral CCL tears (although she did it as a pup, long before the CCL tears). But the younger one, too, who hasn't been tested and yet I would highly doubt as CHD, as she has really wonderful extension and posture (no guarentees, obviously, but standing posture tells a lot). I would be more concerned about the fact that she doesn't seem to extend her hind limbs very far, at any of the gaits she shows here. That is much more classic for psoas or hip laxity issues.
