alligande
We expect that we will moving to the UK by the end of the year. I have studied the pet passport scheme but would love to hear a real experience in dealing with all the paper work. As it is a direct and reasonably short flight for us I would rather save the money and do it myself and not hire a pet travel company but obviously I need to get everything right. Sue R
Also try posting on Sheepdog-L. There are a number of people there who have flown over for the World Trials and have experience with this. Also check with Geri Byrne (try her on FB) who sent a youngster over there a few years ago, I believe.
Liz P
Contact your state vet that handles the paperwork for international health certs. You will want to do that ASAP because some of the requirements can take more than 6 months to complete.
alligande
Thanks guys, the UK have recently changed the requirements to 21 days from approved countries which luckily the US is so that takes the pressure off, and luckily he is in year 2 of his 3 year rabies inoculation so the extra one won't be to bad.
