Gayle York Posted October 7, 2001 Report Share Posted October 7, 2001 Well, it's official. The USA Open Agility Team has become number one in the world!! They won the Gold today in Portugal. The team consisted of 4 Border Collies and an Australian Shepherd. For those that aren't familiar with the competition, it's kind of like the Olympics of dog agility. Each country in the world puts together a team of Open (large dogs) and Mini (small dogs). The number on the team is 4 plus an alternate. The competition is held in a different country each year and follows FCI rules and format. This year, the competition was in Portugal, last year in Finland, and the year before that, Germany. Anyway, our open dog team took the Gold, and our mini dog team snatched the Silver. Way to go Team USA. You make us all proud. Gayle Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
