How Often Should You Vaccinate Your Dog?

Just asking but do you mean just Rabies in the above?

 

Also, did you ask your Health Department about being 2 days late previously? I've heard many people say the same thing only to find out it was a scam the vet office was running, not the law. The best by far is "we'd have to charge 3x more for the 3 yr rabies vaccine". Why? It costs the same or pennies more than the 1yr!

 

 

I didn't think to ask them. I have since switched vets to a vet that understands and agrees with my less is more approach. But they told me that the law did indeed change. They've been very good about letting us know in plenty of time and allowing walk ins in order to get the vaccine on time. Thanks goodness for small towns! They're also cheaper. The first vet wanted to charge more and give more for the parvo/distemper to last three years. That didn't fly with me and didn't happen. I told him that the dogs are just like kids and who in the world would want to give their kids more vaccines than necessary?
